This was a generally peaceful world; bathed in light and cheery natives. There was the occasional Heartless, but they were not there of their own volition. Someone had invited the Heartless here to this beautiful place.

Nix had no idea why he had been sent to this world. He saw no reason for the presence of him; a knight clad in heavy armor with a six foot long gas powered sword, in this beautiful kept garden. "An order's an order." He murmured beneath his helmet as the dark portal closed behind him.

He stood atop the a crafted hedge, scanning the area. "No sign of the Heartless or Nobody's."

Nix leapt from the hedge; his armor making quite the racket as he made his landing. He had never questioned an order; other than those given while he was supposed to be on an imposed two week vacation; until today. Why had he been sent to this world. This world was safe enough. The Cornerstone of Light kept it safe. It's citizen's could not be harmed, not even by the extremely weak Heartless that popped up every now and then.

"Well...I'd better scout ahead for trouble..." Nix started forward. An order was an order.

((Hnh... perhaps I can help you keep this one active))

A mansion was a place for wealthy people to live, but a castle? That was a whole other ball game. Yessire bob, only the richest of the rich lived in castles, but also, the snootiest people lived in those crazy structures. Those people didn't even like the sights of normal wealthy common folk, they turned their nose up at them, thinking they were better than all of them.

Well, this castle was a different one it seemed, it glittered and was as pure as the white stone that paved its outside. Whoever owned this castle was not a snob whatsoever, no, they cared to actually keep the place lively and clean. And it didn't seem to bother any of the residents that a... less than common folk girl was wandering about its halls.

She continued to look back and forth between the walls, 'ooh's and 'ah's coming from her mouth every now and then. Though she was tempting to keep them silent they were rather loud in the empty halls. Infact... for a kingdom it was pretty dead, it made you think where all the people were living or how long the townspeople slept in for.

A loud clank came from around the corner, the garden it seemed. Either way, it was loud and made the girl jump slightly at the sound since it had broken the dead silence that filled the room previously. Quickly, she burst off into a run to see what the problem was, hoping no one was injured or anything was broken that she could potentially have to pay for. The 'you break it you buy it' term could come into play... but what if she couldn't afford to buy it? She rather didn't want to find out.

As she turned the corner, it hit her, literally. A loud clanks was heard as the girl's head smashed against the chest plate of a boy's armor. Thanks to the power of repulsion, the girl fell backward, her eyes closed and having her clutching her nose in pain.

"O-Owie," she curled up slightly on the ground they were standing on. She wasn't in any serious pain, but it was unexpected pain, not like there was anything good about this surprise.

Nix stood there for a moment, stunned by what had just happened. True, he had been walking and observing the sights without paying any specific attention to where he was going; but she had just come out of no where.

The girl hit the ground quite violently as she ricocheted off of his chest plate. That would smarts. His armor was thick and made specifically to protect his heart from the Heartless. Nix hadn't even felt the slightest deterrent but she would be feeling that for sometime.

"A native?"

Extending his armored hand out in apology, Nix waited for her to take his hand. The least he could do was help her up.

"My apology's m'am."

Luckily for Lily she wasn't one who tended to bleed easily, probably roughing it up around the streets had allowed her skin to be used to minor abuses such as scrapes and bashes every now and then. But that didn't mean these things passed by painlessly. It still hurt to be bashed rather hard on the nose, but Lily wasn't some preppy high-class girl who'd whip out a cellphone and sue this guy to high hell, no, she was tough and kept herself secluded to the world.

Moving her hand away from her nose she looked up, seeing a boy in a large suit of armor offering her a hand. He didn't seem all that bad ot stuck up, a knight in shining armor perhaps? Pfft... as if, those things only existed in fairy tales, and Lily didn't see any pixies or gremlins scampering about just quite yet. But oh, how this guy was playing the role, still... best not let his efforts go wasted.

Smiling slightly, she took his hand, holding onto the metal as best she could as she hoisted herself up, a pulley and lever system being put into affect slightly. Once she was on her feet she took her hand back, rubbing the back of her head lightly.

"Hehe... sorry 'bout that... wasn't lookin' where I was goin' I guess," she closed her eyes, tilting her head slightly onto his shoulders.

This guy was odd... no one from Twilight Town seemed to where this sort of a getup. Was this a reject from the round table or something? No guy wore a suit of armor like that unless they were going to some convention, being paid obscene amounts of money, or trying to pull off a dare him and some of his 'buds' came up with in a sort of drunken state.

"So Romeo," she spoke in a rather sarcastic tone, trying to make obvious of her thoughts towards his apparel, "Just what story book did ya fall outta? Cinderella? Sleepin' Beauty? Oh, I know, maybe one of those books 'bout those brave knights goin' off to slay a dragon."

Nix allowed a sliver of a smile to escape. "Neither was I." A cold, armored hand began playing with the backside of his hair out of embarrassment. For a gallant knight traveling the universe he sure didn't pay attention much. The other knights would have his head if they knew how truly clumsy he had allowed himself to become during his travels.

Quickly giving the girl a once over look Nix decided that the girl didn't look too menacing. In fact, she looked like any other girl her age should look. It was calming to see someone so close in make-up to the people of his own world. The only thing that would make her stand out on his world were her fancy clothes. The people his world wore a much plainer attire; being mostly made of farmers.

Nix, having been hopping between the worlds for a few years now, had grown almost homesick. He craved the normalcy of his home world...all the more reason to finish his crusade and return home a hero.

"So Romeo, just what story book did ya fall outta? Cinderella? Sleepin' Beauty? Oh, I know, maybe one of those books 'bout those brave knights goin' off to slay a dragon."

Story book? Nix had indeed encountered a world that seemed to be inside of a story book, and another with a Cinderalla...but his world...his world was a small one. Hardly worth the fame that came to some of the more predominant worlds. "No,no...nothing like that." His eyes seemed to go dull as he pictured his home world in his mind.

"It was a small world...a very plain world that generally went unnoticed by travelers. We liked it that way. It used to be beautiful...but now...now it's full of darkness and endless wars...The world of Eris."

Shaking his head a few times to wake himself from his memory, Nix returned his gaze to Lily. "But you wouldn't want to know about any of that...it's...a sad, sad story. I am a knight; though, my armor's not very shiny anymore. I've been traveling for a long time and not had the time to give it a proper polish."

Extending his arm once more for a proper hand shake, Nix gave another brief indication of a smile. He wasn't very good at smiling when he wasn't in a battle. "I'm Nix. Number 6 in the Holy Order of the Trinity Knights."

Awe, and Lily always did love listening to the heroes of the future bicker about what might be brought to them. This boy was modest, didn't show off much or anything like that.

"Oh, yeah... darkness. That's what happened to my home too," she tried to hide her sadness.

She had lost a lot of people back there, and she had to start anew all by herself. She had gotten stronger, that was for sure, but the memories she had back there would stay true o her forever. Although it sounded sappy, it was true.

"Oh, the Holy Order, sounds important," she said somewhat mockingly, sure, he was nice, but how fun was life without any... fun? "So just what might this order do?Hmm?"

((I've been flooded with work this week, sorry for the delay.))

So...she was like him after all. A castaway. Someone who had faced and lived through the darkness.

"Well, the Order began as three farmers who banded together to protect their towns...but it turned into something else. Now, they've got enough members to expand beyond Eris." Nix held out his palm, revealing a number 'six' stitched into his glove. "I'm one of the field units. We're sent from world to world to protect them evil; be that evil Heartless, Nobody's, and those who wield the Key's."

Nix traced his hand over the handle of his blade. He handed gotten his hands on a Keybearer in some time. He had a feeling he was getting close to that notorious Sora and his friend Riku. If he managed to take them out he'd be promoted and given a job back on his home world.

"Wait a minute...there was one other Keybearer that we tracked to these area...He was...some kind of royal..."

A light went on somewhere in his mind. He was in a castle courtyard. He was in the right area of the universe...He could be on the home world of that third Keybearer.

"Say..." Nix looked down; Lily's blond hair and blue eyes reflected in his helmet's visor. "...If I was sent here, there must be something dangerous on this world...I should look into it." Nix took a few steps past Lily when he paused. "Would you do me the honor of accompanying me?"

Lily's eyes lit up when she saw the glove, it was so different, so... out of this world it seemed.

"Well don't ya look all official, wearing all d'em fancy nicknacks," she giggled slightly.

So knights actually did do other work than saving damsels in distress... Surprising, they seemed to enjoy the fame that went along with it. Oh well, everyone's interests were perked in different ways.

Her ears pricked up on his starting of speech, looking up, trying to get good view of the boy she was talking to, "Oh yeah... dangerous... right..." Not everything had to be perilous, didn't these knights ever hear of casual fridays?

"Alright... I'll come," she skipped over to catch up with him, giving him a slight glare once she caught up, "But if I wind up dead in a river I'm gonna be so mad at ya!"

((... My computer ate my response... I swear I posted her last week, sorry.))
