"Just a child's play toy? I beg to differ," Eryx replied in a harsh tone. "Ever since I opened that thing, weird things have been happening within the past few minutes."

Eryx started stepping backwards when he realized how small he was in comparison to this David. This won't end well if I'm not too careful, he thought.

"It's not that I don't trust you or anything," Eryx added, "You're just someone I've never met before and I've had to deal with a lot of weird stuff and - bye!"

He dashed for the entrance, crawling through the entryway and out onto the sand. "When did the waves get so big?" he asked no one.

code frowned. What a disappointment. It was too bad that this person was now in code's database of, well, people. But, for now, he was the number one target. Of course, code doubted anything would get done due to his incredibly lazy group of ICLs. He made a fist, turned around, and stormed off. It was easy to see that code was not happy with his decision not to hand over the box, but you couldn't always get what you want, right?

code was not a firm believer in this.

He quickly walked through the dark portal and shut it, empty handed.

"This wasn't supposed to go like this..." He walked down the hall of his throne room as he thought long and hard about how he would go about Destiny Islands.

Eryx waited a couple minutes to see if David would come out.

When nothing happened, Eryx sat on the sand with a sigh of relief, letting the sun's rays warm his face.

"Maybe I should go swimming for a while," Eryx thought aloud as the waves calmed down. But he shook his head in disagreement. "I don't have my swimming trunks with me at the moment. Plus, I have this box..."

He heaved another sigh as he looked out across the waves.
